Job Title: Associate (IP) /Senior Associate (IP)

The Role
Our market leading IP Litigation team is hiring a qualified solicitor. This role will suit a litigator with a specialised knowledge of IP and a strong commitment to developing a career in IP litigation. In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- advising on the full range of intellectual property rights including patents, SPCs, trade marks, designs and copyright;
- providing a first-class litigation service to clients; and
- supporting the strategic objectives of the team and firm.
This is a great opportunity to join a renowned IP Litigation team and to be involved in large-scale multi-jurisdictional cases before the Irish Commercial Court acting for the world's leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, technology and other companies in patent and SPC disputes and acting for the world's leading brands in trade mark, passing off and copyright cases.
The Person
- You are a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' PQE experience in intellectual property law;
- You are experienced in dealing with Commercial Court matters;
- You have specialised IP knowledge, in particular of patent and trade mark law;
- You have an excellent academic background;
- You have a strong analytical ability;
- You have excellent technical and drafting skills;
- You are a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;
- You are commercially minded; and
- You are a team player and able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues.
